Our professional experience spans most areas of voiceover work including commercials, radio and TV, corporate videos, explainers, e-learning, IVR, technical, narration, documentary, audio books... in fact, whatever your needs we'd love to hear from you. We genuinely enjoy it all, and chances are, one or both of us have got it covered!
- Welcome to He Said She Said Voiceovers... 2:29
I’ve known Neill for almost ten years and can honestly say a more professional, funny, talented man would be hard to find. He’s quite simply a gem of a guy with a beautiful voice!
Neill and I quickly realised how well we gel professionally – he’s a dream to work with. Our respective acting backgrounds led us to co-set up a local theatre company - The Very Merry Roosters, and we’re proud to say we have achieved something of a cult Roosters following here in Kent.
Although independent of each other as Voiceover artists, we share a studio and can offer a male/female service under one roof which makes it nice and tidy for you with those two-handers. No tricky business of editing separate studio voices.
One more thing – there’s no job too small. There really isn’t! We offer an expert, bespoke service quickly and efficiently here at ‘HesaidShesaid-Towers’.
Ok, so it’s not quite at ‘towers’ stage yet - but our well-equipped professional studio nestling conveniently close to Neill’s home grown ‘garden pub’ is champion, and serves us and our clients perfectly. It has the advantage of offering a thirst-quenching reward once the job is complete. Perks, little perks….
Sarah has pretty much said it all, although I can’t wait to meet this Neill chap!
Working with Sarah will allow us to cover most bases, should you need a duo. However, we will also happily work independently of each other in almost all spheres of voice over work. Sarah is a true professional and the quality of her work, outstanding. I feel very privileged to be working with her.
We are both very determined people and will strive to produce the best possible work for you, whatever the brief.
As a London based actress and VO back in the ‘90s, I spent a busy few years voicing TV and radio commercials, radio promos, corporate videos and audio books.
Besides Voiceover, my career has spanned theatre, international film (proud to say acting opposite legends such as Sir Donald Pleasance, Anthony Perkins, Herbert Lom and Robert Vaughan) and also - music. A little off-piste here, but I was a recording artist and ‘disco-house diva’ under the pseudonym of Sugar Holmz for a while back there. Yes, I know – what can I say? There are times when one must just accept life’s rich tapestry….:)
Taking time out to co-raise my two boys here in Kent has been a dream-job (albeit an unpaid one!) surrounded and inspired by our beautiful English countryside, and it’s here I developed my song writing and jazz-blues quintet called, (rather imaginatively I thought) - ‘The Sarah Ward Quintet'. I still regularly perform in local theatre, film projects and occasional radio when time permits.
Now, with our boys rapidly growing up I am thrilled to get back to the voiceover work I love.
So - if you need anything voicing, whatever it may be - with speed, professionalism, sensitivity and acuity, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
Sarah Ward film - You Won't Remember Me
Best Actress in an indie film: Sarah Maur Ward
A foray back to my (beloved) acting roots earlier this year led me to work with a talented young student Film Maker and Director - Victor Blaho, on his first film endeavour - You Won't Remember Me. I'm thrilled to report that You Won't Remember Me is winning awards across the board at major U.S film festivals, and extremely proud to announce that I was awarded 'Best Actress In An Indie Film' at the New York Film Awards Sept 2019 for my role in the film. (Quick excited jig!)
This has, of course, re-ignited my passion for TV and film work to inferno-type levels and, in conjunction with my Voiceover work I'm actively seeking representation, so please get in touch. It's good to be back!
No Classical training as such in the world of speech and Drama, but I come from a professional acting family, (mother on stage, TV and one of first female newsreaders, father behind the lens). I spent most of my youth on stage or sitting around film sets all day, waiting for my ten seconds of glory! Whilst attempting to seek a career in the world of entertainment, it struck me that it would be nice to be able to eat and drink occasionally, so, jobs in Zoo Keeping, Microbiological research, singing in a Rock band and fine art materials importer, lead me to working for the last thirty five years in the wine industry.
Aside from developing expensive tastes in wine, the last thirty five years have allowed me to hone my voice skills, whether holding the attention of an audience whilst trying to explain the merits of chalk soil in Chablis (interesting!), to hosting a Roman wine tasting, dressed as a Roman and acting the role of 4th century wine merchant, or simply using my voice to sell….often described as having ’a great telephone voice’…or as some will say, ‘the perfect face for radio’!
Ten years ago, I returned to the stage with a local Theatre company, down here in Kent, where I live. I was part instrumental in setting up the ‘Very Merry Roosters’ a group of semi professional and ex actors, putting on a range of musicals and farces, where my vocal skills have encompassed everything from American teenager to cantankerous Yorkshire pensioner. But all the time, never forgetting my natural voice, which has led me to a couple of short film roles recently, with a local film production company.
Using my voice is really what I enjoy doing, whether it be for corporate, e learning needs, announcements, commercial ads or of course Drama and audio books, you name it, I will do it!
